Specialist Orthodontist

Ash carried out his undergraduate training at Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry, qualifying in 2014. Following a year in general dental practice, he undertook further training in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at King’s College Hospital. He later worked in Paediatric, Restorative dentistry, and Oral Surgery at Edinburgh Dental Institute and Paediatric Cleft Dentistry at Evelina Children’s Hospital in London. During this time, he became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, and gained a Master of Science degree in Primary Dental Care. He then commenced 3 years of Specialist Orthodontic training at King’s College London, completing a second Master of Science degree in Orthodontics and gaining the Intercollegiate Membership in Orthodontics (IMOrth) from the Royal College of Surgeons, England, which demonstrates an understanding of diagnosis and treatment planning over a wide range of problems in orthodontics together with a high level of expertise in carrying out orthodontic treatment. He is also a qualified Invisalign provider.

Ash aims to bring the most up-to-date and advanced treatments to his patients, having completed advanced training from around the world. He has worked in private practice in Melbourne and Sydney, as well as part of a craniofacial orthodontic team at New York University. Ash has also been widely published in international and national journals, presenting his findings both abroad and throughout the UK.

For Ash, the single most valuable tool in treatment planning is the simple act of listening to his patients.  His approach to orthodontics is based on this philosophy and, with this ethos in mind, he works collaboratively with his patients to create brighter and more confident smiles.

Outside of dentistry, Ash enjoys adrenaline-fuelled activities, such as scuba diving, skiing, and the occasional skydive!
