Carla finished her dentistry degree in 2007 in Lisbon and soon after started her journey in Orthodontics.
After moving to the UK in 2011, she decided to continue pursuing her orthodontic career and has since then attended several national and international courses in the area, including an MSc in Orthodontics from Warwick University. She is now finalizing her 3-year Clinical Specialization in Orthodontics at the Medicine University of Oporto.
Carla believes science and treatments are always evolving and enjoys keeping herself updated to be able to provide the best treatment for her patients. Working with different systems either fixed braces or aligners, Carla makes sure it’s not just the teeth that matter but the all face and smile to achieve the best outcome for her patients.
Outside work, Carla enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. Travel is her passion, being from Portugal, she loves the beach and sun as you can imagine.
She is fluent in English and Portuguese.
