At ODL Dental Clinic, we take a team-based approach to deliver fast, safe, and affordable orthodontic care. Our award-winning team ensures you receive expert attention at every stage of your treatment.
White braces start from £1149 (one arch - top) and £1550 (top white, bottom metal) and are made from tooth-coloured materials for a more discreet look than metal braces. We often combine white braces on the upper teeth with metal ones on the lower for both aesthetics and treatment efficiency.
Why choose white braces?
✔ Less visible than metal braces
✔ Faster than lingual braces
✘ Ligatures may stain (replaced monthly)
✘ Slightly longer treatment time than metal braces

Once you’re dentally fit, we’ll fit your braces using modern, comfortable stainless-steel components and precise techniques. Whether it’s one arch or both, our clinicians place everything accurately to support strong, long-term results.
Prices:
• £1,149 for one arch

You can pay upfront or spread the cost through 4 monthly direct debit instalments.

Your braces need regular adjustments to move your teeth safely and steadily. Each visit includes a clinician review, wire adjustments, and progress checks to keep treatment on track. These appointments are £119 per month.
Routine dental check-ups and hygiene visits must continue throughout treatment to keep gums healthy and avoid delays.
Treatment time varies depending on complexity, with mild cases taking around 12 months, moderate cases 12–18 months, and complex cases approximately 24 months or longer.

When your smile is ready, we remove your braces carefully and precisely. The removal appointment is £119, and on the same day we take digital impressions to custom-make your Vivera retainers, ready one week later.
Vivera Retainers:
• £300 for one arch
• £450 for upper and lower
(Required on the day)
Optional fixed retainers:
• £299 per arch.
Wearing your retainers as instructed is essential — without them, teeth will naturally begin to shift.

The retention phase keeps your new smile exactly where it should be. You must continue wearing your retainers long-term and attend periodic retainer check-ups so we can ensure everything stays stable. These appointments are charged at our standard consultation fee.
Consistent retention is the key to protecting your investment and enjoying your beautifully aligned smile for years to come.
White braces, also known as ceramic braces, use tooth-colored or clear brackets that blend in with your natural teeth, making them a more discreet alternative to traditional metal braces.
Yes, white braces are just as effective as metal braces in correcting misalignment, spacing, and bite issues. They use the same method of brackets and wires to gradually move your teeth into place.
Typically, white braces cost slightly more than traditional metal braces due to the materials used. However, many patients find the added aesthetic benefit worth the investment.
The ceramic brackets themselves are stain-resistant, but the elastic ties that hold the wire can stain if exposed to foods like curry, coffee, or red wine. Regular hygiene and periodic tie replacement help prevent this.
Yes, ceramic braces are generally comfortable. The brackets are smoother and less noticeable, though they can be slightly larger than metal ones. Any discomfort typically fades after a short adjustment period.
White braces are ideal for teens and adults who want a less visible orthodontic treatment but still need the control and effectiveness of fixed braces. They’re a popular choice for professionals or those concerned with aesthetics during treatment.
