Elaine is our cheerful experienced dentist. Her special interests are in Cosmetic & Restorative Dentistry, Orofacial Pain (TMJ/Bruxism) and Sleep Medicine, along with her outstanding Medical Aesthetics experience. Her focus as a clinician is an evidence-based approach.

She qualified in 2000 at UFSC in Florianópolis, Southern Brazil.

Principal of her own Dental Clinic in Florianópolis for over 7 years, she moved to the UK for family reasons at the time. She gained her UK registration through the GDC ORE (Overseas Registration Examination) in 2008. Since then, she has been continuously updating her skills, providing the highest standard treatment for all her patients.

Her qualifications as a dentist are: Masters of Science in Dental Public Health at UCL 2013 (London), Certificate in Orofacial Pain and Occlusal Splints 2023 (Brazil), Forensic Human Identification Certificate at AFMS 2011 (London), Masterclass in Aesthetic Dentistry 2018 at Eastman Dental Institute, Advanced Composite Bonding for Anterior Teeth at UFSC 2008, Diploma in Family/Public Health at UFSC 2005 and Certificate in Paediatric Dentistry and Dentistry for Babies at ABO 2001 (Brazil).

Elaine has been working in Facial Aesthetics since 2009.  She trained in the UK and Brazil. Aesthetics treatments that she provides include anti-wrinkle treatment, soft tissue fillers (hyaluronic acid based), bio-remodelling treatments, chemical peels and fat dissolving treatments. She trained with KT Training, HA-Derma, Cosmetic Courses, Merz, Allergan, Avanti Aesthetics Academy and Harley Academy. Elaine also has a full Diploma in Level 7 Medical Aesthetics including Cosmetic Dermatology with Harley Academy. She is a member of the ACE World Group (Aesthetics Complications Expert Group) and a JCCP (Joint Committee of Cosmetic Practitioners).

In 2019, she obtained a Certificate as Energy Healer with the School of Intuition and Healing, including Medical Intuition training. In 2020, she gained a Certificate in Hypnosis to help anxious patients overcome their phobias.

Well-known by her friendly approach, Elaine naturally makes her patients comfortable and cared for. She believes in restoring an individual’s confidence through a healthy smile and a well looked after appearance. Most importantly, keeping their unique and natural beauty.

Elaine speaks English, Portuguese and understands Spanish well. She is passionate about dancing, travelling, exploring nature, the seaside and animals, especially dogs.
